Leo, It sounds like you are describing a Bud Jones "speed check" which were used in the Bavaro Casino. Each of the casinos in the Dominican Republic, especially the Bavaro, use many different $1's & $5's. I have a number of each denomination in all sorts of colors. By the way, this was one of the seedier places I was asked to leave after harvesting a pocketful of roulettes. On the Malecon they were not so pleasant. I was escorted out of one casino by a gorilla with a shotgun!
