I think it's a definite different chip. Note the dot in the i is centered directly under the Riviera logo on the chip on the left. The same i is way to the left of the Riviera logo on the chip on the right. Also the tail of the numeral "5" touches the "g" in Vegas on the right chip and look how close to the scallop center insert the script letter "R" is. The numeral "25" appears to be significantly larger and redder on the right chip as well.
