Re: X Mold Las Vegas Clubs, I found some.

Hi everyone,
I have had this chip in my collection for years. At the beginning of my
chipping 15 years ago this was the only Nevada X mold we can identify & still
is. It makes for a very interesting chip. When putting the book together
chips like this stunk! They would get in the way & we would have to study
the logo etc. to figure which issue the chip would fall into. If you look
in our book you will see some were just their own issue for no logical reason but Gene's.
I think I have it figured out why this wasn't a popular mold! They Cracked!
I recently picked up nearly 2 full boxes of these. 150-160 have hairline
cracks! Darn! So still kind of a scarce chip at least in collectible condition.
Actually any condition I guess is collected as long as cheap enough.
Anyone need one for say 5 bucks? I have worn ones at 10. Better at $20 &
with a full name & some hotstamp in the stamped mold at $40. I know
"better" is rather vague, so I should say the lettering is all there.
Now I am curious to know approx. year on these? Anyone know? I think my
order of issue is correct Wow! Las Vegas Club is truely the winner on molds!
I count 17 that I have listed! But forget about putting one of each together--
they had an Arrowdie & Rectangle Heart!
