I was in the flea market last week. I pick up 3 pieces of currency: $20 gold cert for $50; a $1 Hawaii note for $9; and, a $1 1923 large note for $10.

I told the guys I bought them from that I was going to throw them on eBay and see what happens. Results are in: Gold note - $91; Hawaiian note $33; large note - no bid. I guess I keep the large note with a $55 profit.

These guys I bought the notes from were small time coin (NOT currency) dealers. I paid their asking price. I wonder what they paid (I'd bet $45, $6, and $7)
