Could it be you noticed portions of the thread move into archive. Since Andy's post was made before mine, and my post is still in view, perhaps the 48-hours have past since his post? I've not only noticed posts that were lost (not deleted) in the last week, but what seems real strange is when a complete thread (in tact) moves up the index. I can understand when responses "scatter" and become new posts due to the lead post being deleted...but I don't know why a whole thread would move up (or down). Try the archive.
