Just returned from San Diego where I visited the 3 Indian casinos there to see how they were doing with their "Nevada Style" gaming which means house banked card games and slot machines which actually take and drop coins instead of paying with a cashable paper receipt. All 3 only had one room of coin slots in operation at this time. Sycuan had lots of dollar machines, 2 $5 machines, and 1 $25 machine, each with it's own token. They also have a new slot card. Four different chip manufacturers are represented by the 50c chips here. Viejas has dollar machines and dollar tokens only. They also have a new slot card but their tracking system isn't up yet so you're supposed to merely put your card in your pay tub and every so often, an employee comes around and scans it. Barona has a huge room with machines in $1,$5,$10,$25,and$100 denoms but only one dollar tokens. For some reason, the others still pay out receipts. When I asked why, they just said they have no tokens for those machines. They actually gave me two different slot cards here, one for the old machines and one for the new. I also found a new $25 chipco on the tables mixed in with their Paulsons. If anyone wants any of the items mentioned here,please see next message....
