Re: Stratosphere Slot Promotion

Steve; You are half right when you say, "grand casinos did not honor stupak's vacation vouchers when they took over the Stratosphere." Stratosphere is honoring the room nights left over from the old Vegas World packages due to a court settlement ... but not the "funny money". In fact, Brenda and I are staying at Stratosphere on room nights owed on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday next week prior to moving to Trop on Wednesday for the duration of the convention.

As for the slot promotion. Be careful. Some of these promotions do not work the way they are generally interpreted. Everytime you win a small payout, that is deducted as a "win" from the $125 "loss" total..... In other words, you win 50 quarters on one spin, 10 quarters on another spin, 40 quarters on still another spin, etc. If you put it all back into the machine and lose say $200 of your money, plus what small amounts you won.... all your "wins" are deducted from the maximum. So, the only way one would receive the full $125 would be if you played $125 and did not win a single small payout. I'm not sure that the way the Stratosphere program works, but that's the way it was at Harrah's A.C. last year.

As for the comment regarding Carl Ichan... "Ichan will sell. he doesn't hold on to anything long" .... he still owns and operates Arizona Charlies I do believe ...
