It all depends on how the law is interpeted. Without going into the specifics we could have obtained a license that would have allowed a totally public show. The license was expensive and it required substanial additional expense, scrutiny and reporting requirements on the part of each dealer.

In the past we have been operating in a way that was approved by local authorities but was maybe not in total compliance with the county regulations. The Board and myself felt the Club is better off complying totally with the regulations so that we are not subject to possible penalties. There have been instances of shows being shut down for operating improperly, we don't want to take the chance on this happening.

As for Steve's comment that politics were involved I'm not sure what he is specifically referring to so I won't address that issue. I guess any time you deal with government there are politics involved.
