Re: Scan Quality - reply
In Response To: Scan Quality ()

My scanner scans at 151 dpi [so it says--but when I check the size on Adobe it says, "300"] and once I transfer it to Adobe then I reduce the dp1 to 72. When the scan is complete on the scanner, it looks ok; it is when it is transported (or whatever is the proper term] to Adobe that things get fouled up. The clear picture is what I can get by bypassing Adobe and saving the scan on my zip disc. I am having one of our University people check it out and hopefully will have a resolution soon. My efforts to communicate with Adobe were fruitless--I got an ever growing choices on their voice mail and the e-mail support didn't include the problems I had; nor did the F&Q help. But my Univ. person knows how to contact them since we have Adobe at the school. I'll pass on your info to him.

Thanks, Don
