Get DSL if it's available where you are. I've had it about a month and it has been very dependable. It doesn't tie up the phone line and you don't get disconnected for lack of activity. I've stayed connected for two days (as a test) and it works well.

The best advantage is speed. These pages used to take up to 5 seconds at 44,000 through AOL/Netscape and they load instantly now. I've been checking this BB through my brother in-law's 28,800 connection in PA for the past week and it made me appreciate DSL even more.
