John, the same is true of all casino run games, only the casino wins. There are opinions that card counters playing blackjack can win (however with all the security available, it is doubtful that anyone could play that long enough before a request is made for them to leave.

The only game I know of in which skill is the prime factor and that skill relates to winnings is poker. (albeit only a small percentage of players have that skill.)

Personally, I have not held a pair of dice, played a hand of blackjack or participated in any casino game in years. And I expect it will be at least that long again before I ever do again. On the other hand, I play low stake poker many times a week.

But as Bob Orme says and I agree, I can leave anytime--which is what I do when I am on a down swing in my poker playing. Might not play for a week or so at a time if I'm running bad, everyday if everything is going well.
