Sadly I was one of those who saw this at the beginning. While I never degraded those in the military(they were following orders) I did everything I could both as a journalist in college and in my private life to support the peacefull anti-war effort. If this had been a true fighting war I would have supported it with everything I had. However, the war was only politically motivated from the start and this was proved when Nixon delayed ending the war for almost one full year JUST TO GET REELECTED. Truly one of the saddest moments in American history.
