Re: What Makes the DI so Tough?

The DI never has anyone in it. When you walk up to the roulette table there is usually never anyone else playing so you are there by yourself. Of course they have two roulette dealers standing there, one to spin and pay and one to stack chips. Then, since you are the only one in the place, the 2 or 3 pit bosses walk over to the table and watch because they are bored out of their minds. Keep in mind that behind you across the aisle is another pit full of dealers and pit bosses with nothing to do so they are watching you also.

2 or 3 years ago I was able to get some of the roulettes from there though. I was winning, and winning pretty good, but I knew there was no way I could cash out because they would catch me for sure. So, with a pocket full of roulettes, 65 roulettes on the table in front of me, and a couple hundred $$ worth of green in my pocket that I had them give me from time to time, I asked them if they would watch my stack of roulettes while I went to the restroom. I was the only one at the table and they said sure. So, I walked in the door of the restroom, and turned around immediately and walked right out the door of the casino. I think they are still watching my stack. <g>
