The voices in the back yard called to me all day! They seemed to come from specific locations 18 inches under ground. I didn't find any small children trapped by a recent earthquake. I didn't find any 50 year old chips crying to be found. I did find some rocks that seemed to be quite content just where they were, and put up quite a struggle when I insisted I look under them.

I'm tired and sore and still hear the voices. I've decided the only way to quiet them is to cover the offending spots with concrete, but that'll have to wait for another day. The years are advancing by the minute!
