Yes, Joe stood around my table and Armins for a long time and expected some kinda deal to show up since he made a point of meeting me for the first time and I probably disappointed him by not being more lenient (prices) to a newcomer. I theorize that a new chipper needs to learn as early as possible that the prices in any showroom vary greatly and usually send chippers off to look around to see if they can beat my price. Unfortunately, few come back so I may need to learn a new tact. I can recall Joe witnessing Armin selling a Broken (hhmmm wonder where he got that) Dragon Plaque for $25 and maybe that convinced him it was time to move on to another table. Honest....I gave that to Armin because I had promised him a Dragon Plaque and had no others. He was so disgusted with me.....he sold it!!!!!. Don't blame him. If anyone would like a nice set of two broken plaques, well glued back together and framed....I ahave them for sale for $45.....probably worth $50 now that a price valuation has been set.
