Re: The Casino at Bahamia! Part II.

After sitting down at the black jack table I asked for some regular house $5 chips. The dealer insisted that THERE WAS NO REGULAR $5 HOUSE CHIP! HUH! It turns out that there are a total of 5 different $5 chips in use. One is the millennium & 4 others. The $1 chip has that same star fish that was painted on the plane. Nice chip which I would rate an 7 on scale of 10. Now the fives. I know which chip or chips I will nominate for the COTY next year. As I said, there is the Millennium $5. Since I am sans scanner I'll have to do my best describing the chips & then ask my fellow Florida chipper to scan them next week. All are Paulson full graphics. One has a naked woman on a beach looking out to sea wearing a straw hat. You can only see her back! Another has a couple walking along the beach. Another shows the glorious Caribbean, with waves rolling up on the shore & the last one has 2 dolphins swimming in crystal clear water. What to do? I had lost my line of credit for not comming to the casino as often as i did in the past & I only had a limited amount of money to spend on chips. I took a few of each & if you want a house chip, you have to take pot luck. Most of the naked girl chips were hard to find so I picked out what i could. By the way, all of the chips have that stupid looking star fish somewher on the inlay. The $1 tokens are a gold tone with some sort of flower, possibly a hibiscus. Nice tokens. I did play some, watched some golf in the sports book, had lunch & did some shopping at the International Bazzar. I did get over to the hotel & after giving the bellman a few cigarettes, he turned up with loads of room keys. They are using plastic keys, similar to ones used on cruise ships in the past. The do say Bahamia & DON"T have that star fish on them. I have then for trade for keys that I need.
At 4:30 I boarded that same "limo" & headed back to FGBIA for the 18 minute trip back to Ft. Lauderdale. I got there early in case US Immigration was going to give me a hard time with the wrong passport. Got my boarding pass & went to customs. The officer on duty looked like he had eaten a bad meal OR had smoked one of those funny looking cigarettes. He told me how nice I looked in my passport picture, stamped my customs declaration & passed me in. I was no fool when I got my seat assignment. I got a seat near the galley so that I was sure to get an orange candy instead of the mint for the return trip. That's about it for the day. In case you were wondering, I saw NO green people & had a great time. I'll be in touch with those of you that requested chips & tokens.
