Does anyone have an idea as to why the different security codes. I can understand a security code to protect them from counterfitting (I'm not sure about $1 chips), but why 15 different codes? Could this denote the number of different times the chip was reissued? Just trying to understand so when I retire, and decide to counterfit $1 chips, I will know what to do <g>.
