Re: Convention Seminars
In Response To: Convention Seminars ()

Kerry,

Michael Knapp is the Educational Forum chair for the Convention. He's trying to put the panel for the "Ask the Masters" seminar together now. There have been questions about another cyberchipping forum. If we can get the panelists then it will happen again. I haven't heard if the committee to Standardize Codes has requested a time to meet yet. The Silver Strikers have. I don't know if it will be a chapter meeting alone or if there will be a topic of discussion, but I'm sure they'd welcome anyone who wanted to attend.

Last year's "AtM" wasn't very well attended. 8 am on Saturday morning is a tough time. 8:30 am will probably be our starting time this year for all the seminars. The reasoning for early times is to allow dealers to attend or participate as panelists. We'll try to do a better job of publicizing the seminars this year to both membership and the public.

I'll check into the possibilities of taping the seminars. Sounds like a great idea to me.

If anyone has suggestions for seminars or topics, please contact Michael Knapp, (ChipProf@aol.com) Wayne or myself. We want this to be a success.

The convention schedule will be posted as soon as it's finalized.

Thanks!

Belinda
