The Gaming Table will identify many chips but won't assess any value to them. The Chip Rack (TCR) is probably the most used price guide for Nevada chips. However, for higher priced chips the Campiglia/Wells book The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide is becoming more popular.

As Gene mentioned, hard to pick any one. The more resources you have the better educated YOU will be as a consumer.
