After bidding on this item and then reading fellow chippers concerns, I emailed the seller. She took the chips out of the bezels and found that they had, indeed, been shaved to fit. She gladly accepted my retraction and stated she thought she might close the auction and post the reason why! Too bad, they looked like great chips for my collection!
