Well I was over at turning stone last night and noticed a sign for a Limited Edition Gift Certificate Casino token redeemable for merchandise at "The Shoppes at Turning Stone"

Well the picture on the sign looked like a chip, so I bought a $25 token. They come in $25, $50, and $100 I think.

I opened it up (It came in a velvet pouch) and it wasn't exactly what I had expected. It is metallic and the center is about chip sized and there is an outer rim (like a silver strike, but not like a silver strike)

One side is gold toned with black lettering on the Rim "THE SHOPPES AT TURNING STONE CASINO RESORT". The Center has a big $25 in black (with raised edges) and smaller gold color raised print says "GIFT CERTIFICATE redeemable for Merchandise Only"

The other side has a Gold color Rim with the words "MILLENNIUM 2000 LIMITED EDITION". The center is two parts --- A white "rim" with gold color raised lettering which reads "ONEIDA INDIAN NATION" and a red raised center with something which I suppose is a christmas tree with Indian themes.

That is everything I know about this. Do other casinos make similar items? Is anyone interested in this?
