Here are the best two pieces of advise I can give:

For London (and Britain overall): Get to as many casinos as possible when you FIRST get there and register, as you then have to wait 48 hourse to gain entry to each one.

For Paris (and France in general): Bring a suit & tie, they have very picky dress codes.
