Carnival Cruise Lines Chips Information

Here is a little information for you guys trying to complete Carnival collections.
It came from the Director of Casino Operations for Carnival. He is describing the different inlay colors.

Mardi Gras - yellow
> Carnivale - blue
> Festivale - white
> Tropicale - green
> Holiday - reddish-orange
> Jubilee - chocolate brown
> Celebration - purple
> Fantasy - peach (which is now the color we use fleetwide)
All the old chips have been destroyed.

This is a little add on to the information from John Long.

YELLOW- 1972 Mardi Gras
BLUE-1976 Carnivale
WHITE-1978 Festivale
GREEN-1982 Tropicale
RED-1985 Holiday
BROWN-1986 Jubilee
PURPLE-1987 Celebration
PEACH-1990 Fantasy
As I mention before the darker blue chip must just be a variation, as well
as the orange sky chip. Although, I think the orange came first and was
suplemented by the peach (my guess).

With the 2 variations John is describing, there are 10 different colors of inlays in all denominations.

Although Rodney says the old racks were destroyed, I found several different colors on the Celebration last week. I am sure the bulk has been destroyed.
