Greg, I bought my scanner more that a year ago just before I had hip surgery. I installed the software, plugged the cord into the USB port but Windows 95 could not recognize the new device. I have no idea what to do, other than to switch to another port or install Windows 98. I hate to do the latter after seeing a picture of Bill Gates' home in the Miami Herald travel section this morning.<g>
