At first I dismissed Jim's post. After reading your post, I now feel that Jim posed a legitimate question. If the chip was "found" (I never get to find chips) there is an implication, at least to me, of it being a lone chip. If Rene is brokering the chip for someone else, there is, then, no implication of it being an only find. In fact, one might jump to the conclusion that there may be several, if not many more of these chips.

Almost as important to me is knowing that the person I'm dealing with is honest. Like you said John, it may make no difference whether the chip belongs to Rene or not. But if this is so, why hide it?

I don't know Rene nor do I have knowledge concerning this chip sale. I cast no aspersions. This has been strictly an academic discussion.
