Re: ID old items of casinos from Spain

Fran,

I know the piece on the left. It's in a very old
collection in Belgium. The piece: 57mm, the serial
N°19 at the base. The piece was listed in Monaco,
by Victor GADOURY in 1991 - at 650F.

The piece on the right is unknown to me.

The two pieces I show below were presented to me by
San Sebastian. I was told they were used in honor
of Queen Maria Cristina...on 29 July 1922, at the Grand opening of the gacino. Local
history in San Sebastian tells me that on 31 October
1924, Primo de Rivera abolished gambling and
everything was taken out to sea and dumped. Being
carton, I'm sure they did not last very long.

I'm very proud of my two pieces. Not only because
they are from Spain, but because of how and by whom
they were presented to me.
