I noticed threads on the BB for both Crest and Seal chips AND room keys/tags, so I decided to put this as a separate post. Seeing the other posts reminded me of this purchase from a NY medal dealer in 1993. For $10 I bought both the chip and the room key tag (both sides shown below).

I didn't bother to clean either, felt it best to leave them as original as possible. The tag is a hefty, embossed metal. Same logo as on the chips.

The crest and seal chip is tracable to the U. S. Playing Card Co. records, which show it as shipped to Agua Caliente Co., Tijuana, Mexico, in 1928. The Gaming Table cites the dates of the casino 1928 to 1935. It was a famous spot for the Hollywood stars then.
