Of course Albuquerque DID screw up BIG TIME when they refused to give a young upstart named Bill Gates any loans or tax incentives for his new company making those 'computer thingamabobs' a few years back. As Julie Roberts said to the sales clerks in Pretty Woman, "Big Mistake - big, BIG Mistake!"

Bill Gates told Albuquerque, New Mexico to kiss his floppy disk and he moved operations to the Northwest. The rest is history. Gates and Microsoft became GIANTS and New Mexico remains one step above a Third World country... #1 per capital in DWI, Domestic Abuse, etc... and in the bottom 5 of Household Income, Schools, etc.. (But we do have great weather here!!)

I just returned to Albuquerque from a weekend flight to Phoenix.

Gosh, I don't check the board for a couple of days and look what they say about me and my fair State... I knew my ears were burning while I was in Phoenix but I just thought it was the sunshine blasting down on my lily white lobes...

No offense intended to the Arizona chip collectors.... but before this weekend, I thought that all "real" casinos had table games!! #:^)) My trip proved otherwise. How come your casinos only have machines and no "traditional" table games with live dealers?

BTW, your Gila Casino outside Phoenix is the NICEST LOOKING CASINO I have ever been to outside Las Vegas. What a showpiece in the desert! (Wish I had (could afford) a home modeled after it!!)
