Reviewing the bidding on the Chesterfield 10 cent chips on eBay, I notice how "Goldplated" lost the chips: At 18:39.38 he threw in what he assumed would be the knockout bid of $600 but Bob Montgomery's earlier bid was $600.01 and he fell short. Unless he was using the automatic bidding process and had topped it at $600, I suspect that when he found he had been outbid there was not time remaining and it appears that a penny made the difference!
