Hi Don: I'm not certain if this chip is currently on the tables or not. As many chippers know, the original Tropicana changed it's name to TropWorld several years after opening. The Tropicana image you have posted was on the tables at that time. When TropWorld became the official name for the casino, all the chips on the property were changed to reflect the name change.... including the roulettes. When TropWorld changed back to Tropicana, some of the old Tropicana roulette chips replaced the TropWorld roulette issues and some tables were taken off the casino floor. I'm not certain that this chip was one that was put back into play or not. But my 1999 A.C. catalog list Tropicana roulettes at $8-$10, which will be revalued in my 2000 issue.

The best reference for A.C. roulette chips is Jerry Birl's R.I.C.H. catalog. However, Jerry only identifies all the then-known chip designs and colors and gives no valuations to individual chips. His book really needs to be updated as it is several years old and lots of changes have occured in A.C. since it was originally published.
