Kentucky Club, die cut metal inlay chip, yellow.

This is a very nice chip, and extremely hard to find. There are currently 4 different colors of this chip, red, white, blue, and yellow. The red and white are about the most common, ranging from about $50 to $90, and the quantities known to exist are about: red (100) and white (75). Then there are the blue and the yellow, of the blue chip which is about the rarest of the 4, there are only 3 known to exist, and according to a local source, the value of this chip should be around $300 to $400. Which brings me to the yellow, I have recently come up with 17 of these, prior to this there were only 10 known to exist, and the value of this chip at that time was estimated to be about $200. I am selling these chips for $150.00 each, all of the chips are in great condition. I would also consider trade for another Northern Kentucky chip, or chips that I do not have in my collection. Kentucky Club was located at 627 Scott St. in Covington, Ky. which is the next city to the west of Newport Kentucky. This was an illegal Club, and ran from the 40's until 1952. This chip has a thin metal wafer inlaid into the chip on each side, it is really a very unique chip for any collection.
