What struck me is that I might expect a high bid when 2 bidder bid against each other. Here we have a one bid auction with no one knowing the current high bid when making their bid.
I'd bet the second high bid was about $100 less. You mentionb TCR is off the mark in Northern NV. Well it didn't quite hit the mark on this Southern NV chip (about $290 too low). You also mention that Campiglia's book is too high in the South --- not in this case!
