These sorts of posts seem to imply that there is a "correct" policy regarding new chips issues - that casinos and dealers should think about the long term health of the hobby and establish policies on that basis. My own view is that casino's will attempt to maximize profits. If $100 LE's make money then we'll see them until they don't make money and then we'll not see them. I see it as being completely self regulating. I think this is true regardless of my own collecting interests.
