Are you sure about this restriction? Is it new, because I have been using EBay for 2 years now with my Yahoo e-mail ID and have never had problems. The one thing I seem to remember was that if I did use a Yahoo mail ID, I needed to give a credit card, which, at the time was not manditory. But since the abuses that have happened, everyone needs to leave a credit card.
