Re: Help - Claridge, Del Webb's HI-HO Casino?

Jim: Some aditional related info on the "HI-HO" chips: "HI-HO" stands for my former partner, Frank "HI-HO" Dadarrio, from Bidgeport, CT. Frank had a gaming license from CT as a result of his partial ownership of Milford Jai Alai (which I now own with Frank's son and others), and Del Webb was having a problem being licensed because of its involvement with the 1950's Las Vegas groups. Frank was able to get license and the original chips merely had "HI-HO" logos. Later, DEl Webb was able to get licensed and the Chips bore both names. Frank died in a plane accident and his interests in the casino were sold and "HI-HO' disappeared from the chips.
