The Bull Durham $1 chips are the only ones that I can think of that would fit your description, and even those are different. While casinos like Bronco Billy's have released LE's that have 500 with serial numbers and, say, 1000 identical chips without the serial number, the total number issued, both numbered and unnumbered has been included on the edge of the chip. This example would say 1 of 1500 on the edge on both types.
