Happy Y2k to everyone.
A High roller friend of mine received a specially packaged set of 10 $25 chips as a gift from the Tropicana (Las Vegas) during his stay there this past weekend. The chips are labeled "The Century's Greatest Moments" and there is one from each of the 10 decades in the 1900s.I don't recall seeing this set described on the Board earlier and was curious as to whether this was a new set issued recently or if had been issued throughout the year.

My friend said the cashier did not mkow anything about the chips. They are not rare as the back of each chip says they are limited to 750 chips (which is a lot for the Trop.

He sold them to me for face value making a tidy profit of $250 <g>. Any info would be appreciated.
