Hi Janice, I think most chip and token collectors
know that when they hear the word chip (which in all
reality is a token) it encompasses metal slot tokens
as well. I remember years ago when Jean (El Cajon,
CA) would stand up at a meeting and voice herself as
you've just done. It was beautiful to see her do
so, but I don't think anyone in the room meant any
harm by not including the word "token" when talking
chips Heck, I even refer to a plaque as a chip
within a conversation where I'm mentioning the
character (color, size or...) of the piece, and it
doesn't bother me in the least when I dont hear
chips, tokens and plaques all in the same breath. I
think we need to worry about a lot more than
omitting the woed token in a conversation. Look at
the name of this BB and its address...it means no
harm to anyone. Happy New Year to you both.
