Re: Red Lion Motor Inn Roulette
In Response To: Red Lion Motor Inn Roulette ()

A bit of history if someone missed the post last March when I bought these from the casino.

These were ordered for the old Red Lion (now Gold Country) across the street. They never put the roulette table in play and the casino name changed. So they had the chips and no use for them. I don't know if that makes these "pogs" because as far as I can tell, they were intended for casino use, but never put in play.

That fact also contributes to the rarity, as my suspicion is that no one else has ever seen these until last year.

OK so am I full of beans on my thoughts? I expect someone who knows chips and Nevada, can clarify the situation.
