A FIREWALL STORY - COMPUTERS NOT CHIPS

Shortly after starting a verbal war with my "friend" Al Capone, I bought a firewall. Immediately, I had two attacks. My friendly firewall told me they were probes with the Trojan worm. Then in two weeks came two more probes. My firewall said they were suspicious but probably harmless--that they were probably just probes from hackers who had tried to infect a large class of users and were just probing to see if they were hit. But I got the numbers and had the firewall trace them down--turned out to be my own server, Roadrunner,--apparently just checking to see if anyone was causing trouble. But I wonder why they didn't notify the subscribers.
