A lot of you wouldn't be looking at Charles' post at the start of this thread for the good reason that you won't be crossing
the country to attend the NY meeting of our chapter.
But I suggest you look at his post (or click the link below) to see the useful, wonderful Yahoo free travel directions-map service
there.
You just type in the starting address and the destination address and then click the "Get Directions" button -- and, voilą,
you receive all of this:
complete detailed travel directions (right turn here, bear right, left turn here, etc.), travel miles, estimated driving time,
and maps! You could then print it out for your trip. Take a look.
