New Florida Illegal chip ID

While doing our research on Illegal clubs in Florida we knew that a restaurant in Marathon, FL called Hanley's had some type of gambling and only could determine that it had a small craps table and nothing else. We recently found that (within the last couple of months) that they in fact had one small dice table and one large dice table in an upstairs room, plus a roulette wheel in a second room. We had also assumed prior to this that they closed down in the mid 50's but reports from the newspapers show it operating until 1965 when Hanley was finally convicted and closed down all gambling operations.

Unknown to me Top Newby was in contact with the wife of one of Hanley's partners in the gambling operation who went by the name of ‘Junior'. Top contacted me earlier this week to tell me he had purchased all the chips she had and did not know anything about the club or what the initials on the chip stood for. Once I was told that the initials were ‘T H' I knew the stood for Thomas Hanley the owner of the club. I have since purchased all the chips from him knowing he had made a great find. Below is a scan of the chips. All of the chips have small nicks and/or discoloration (some more than others). Email me if you need one for your collection. $40/each
