Gil, We're not talking just a few lanes here. Mr.
Ching ran a "bowling center" which is about
40-lanes...and you thought that was a runway. Shame
on you. <g> I wonder if Mr. Ching just happened to
live on Wake Island at the time when he had shipment
of the chips for his bowling center in San
Francisco, or...maybe yet, had a friend living on
Wake Island.

Gene, The point I'm making here is that an address
to where chips were delivered means nothing.
Remember, these were people who ran illegal games.
They could have had the chips shipped anywhere to
dupe the police or whomever.
Besides, why do we assume this Wake Island is the
same Wake Island Gil was stationed on? <g>
