PJ Martino was one of the biggest lay off bookies in the USA in the 30's through the 50's. There is a great story involving the great baseball player, Dizzy Dean, conected with him. PJ did his only jail time because Dizzy ratted him out. Will write the story someday.
The PJ chip was used at The Plaza in the 50's, a very plush club on the beach in Biloxi. PJ's son had 6 chips. He now has 3. I think it was Bob Gable and Ed Hertel that got the other 2.
PJ had pieces on many Biloxi illegal joints. This is the only known chip with his initials on it.

Some of these could be in collections as UFC's. La collectors at the BFTP had never seen it.
