GREAT CONVENTION IDEA: official club dealer's buck

Archie's post below (AND NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY (views: 128)

Archie Black (spider-wl072.proxy.aol.com) -- 11/17/99 7:31 p.m. ) gave me a great idea.

Instead of the simple commemorative Club token for the annual convention, why not replace it (or supplement it) with
an official, dated club dealer's buck/chip like those pictured below?

The ones below are from my collection. They are made of various materials: plastic, clay, metal...... Not shown are two ivory bucks I own. (I am not sure if the two on the bottom are bucks.) Most of the bucks below are heavily embossed -- the animal heads and jack pots are quite large and stand out in relief. The Club buck need not be so fancy.

The bucks are used in poker (maybe other games too) to indicate the dealer, start of betting and who is to ante (often to save time, errors and quarrels, one person antes for everyone).

Scan not that clear, so I'll repeat some of the words on the bucks below: Who is shy, No sleepers, Your next deal, Put up........... The "Jack" refers to Jack Pot.

I'll post this to the Club BB as well.
