I'd like to know what happened involving Jerry's collection prior to and during the 1999 coonvention. I saw the sell off in progress for two of the three days that the convention floor was open. Was Jerry selling chips during that time that he had already sold a night or two prior? Some kind of consignment deal on items he had already sold? I can see some sphincters tightening just by reading this post, but, the definition of a sphincter includes the hole that we use to speak from, and the pile of secrets is getting deeper being kept by some people that should know better.

I know that this post will further alienate myself from good standing in some collectors eyes. Fine with me. I'd rather be viewed as a trouble-maker who deals in the truth about matters that others wish to keep secret. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT OUR HOBBY! Hide details about availability and who has stuff; hurt new collectors. Continue to do so due to a insider network protecting eachother, and you alienate more new collectors. If you want to keep the club small, keep doing what you (not you Paul) are right now.

The Wednesday trade session/earlybird greetiing at the last convention. Who was missing? And where were they? Think about it.
