Janice raises an important issue. How do we keep them, once they've joined. I suspect that a lot are not certified loonies like us <g>. They get in and lose interest in chip collecting. But I'll bet some drop out because despite the low cost they don't get enough kicks for their bucks. This may not be practical, but what if we regulars, several hundred of us, hopefully, were to contact the new folk; introduce ourselves and extol the virtues and pleasures of our organization--be a welcoming committee. We have lots of info to share and could serve as a "informative host" for a year to the new member. Just a thought.
