...is the $1 Flamingo Capri chip (beige HS Nevada mold). TCR lists it as a Borland imitation. James C. shows it as a legitimate chip in his book and in his auction at: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=466137698

I have also heard that this chip may have BOTH been used at Flamingo Capri AND was also "manufactured" by Borland, such that real & counterfit examples of this chip co-exist on the market. (Which means that determining real vs. fake comes down to checking for table wear; alignment of HS's on obverse & reverse; gold foil splash-over in the HS; etc... and possibly not being able to determine at all in some cases.)

Any thoughts or opinions on this $1 Flamingo Capri?
